GelSana is thrilled to announce that our company has been selected for AFWERX SBIR funding through the Department of the Air Force, focusing on military end-user exploration of our novel zwitterionic hydrogels. This prestigious funding aims to propel GelSana’s pioneering work in improving burn, blast, and chronic wound healing, with a particular emphasis on addressing the unique challenges faced by the military community. This project involves engineering hydrogels specifically designed to address the distinctive requirements of military personnel, providing enhanced wound care solutions for those facing burn and blast injuries. GelSana is developing hydrogel systems for the sustained delivery of therapeutic molecules to treat these injuries by stimulating tissue repair and preventing infections.
